The Lagunilla river canyon in northern Tolima, home to Tolima coffee farms, boasts a unique microclimate conducive to coffee cultivation. These lands are further enriched by the ash from the Nevado del Ruiz volcano and the fertile sands of the Sahara desert, which contribute to the region’s rainfall, making it the highest in Colombia.
